By Default: We are in Need of Our Lord!
Without a doubt, is it not the case that we did not have any will, nor our parents in our birth and existence? Is it not the case that the crisp, refreshing water we drink and the rich crops and meats we eat something that necessitates dependence on the one who sustains those crops (with rain and sunlight) and animals? Do we not reflect on the bountiful 'creation' all around us? We would surely attribute the works of a book or a software or furniture to a source (one who developed them). So how can we possibly reject and forget about the Majestic Creator who is the Most Generous and Kind, sustaining us whether we believe in and worship him or not (for an appointed time)?
"Certainly, man can have no better guidance than that which comes from the One Who had perfected everything, and the One who Has no deficiency in Himself and in His Attributes. - Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, renowned Islamic Scholar [d. 751H, approx. 1351CE]"
An Important read for the seeker of truth and justice, and an appeal to the intelligent and humble human being.
